A Little Kushy
A Little Kushy
Also known as: A Little Kushy Auto, ALK
Overview
A Little Kushy is an indica-dominant hybrid strain created through crossing Afghan Kush with Lowryder #2, developed by Freedom of Seeds, which was established in 2009. This autoflowering strain was designed to be a very easy-to-grow auto with surprisingly pungent sweet aromas and is reportedly their most popular auto-flowering strain. The strain consists of 50% indica, 30% sativa, and 20% ruderalis genetics, making it a well-balanced hybrid with strong indica-leaning characteristics. A Little Kushy buds have pepper-shaped minty green nugs with sparse dark amber hairs and a coating of chunky minty white crystal trichomes. This strain delivers the strong, hashy taste which the Afghan Kush is so well known for, along with a classic spicy flowery flavor with an earthy sage aroma. The strain's autoflowering nature makes it particularly appealing to both novice and experienced cultivators seeking a reliable, fast-finishing variety with traditional Kush characteristics.

Growing Information
A Little Kushy Auto is described as a very easy to grow strain that takes 8-9 weeks from seed sprout to finish indoors with a 20/04 light cycle, or 9-10 weeks outdoors. Plants grow 50-80cm indoors and 90-120cm outdoors, with yields of 20-25 grams per plant under HPS/CFL lighting. Indoor yields can reach 200g/m² while outdoor yields may reach 300g per plant. As an autoflowering strain, it does not require light cycle changes to induce flowering and is naturally more resilient, allowing for multiple harvests outdoors even in northern European climates. Plants typically grow short with wide fan leaves and thick stems, maintaining the classic indica structure inherited from its Afghan Kush parent.
