A5 Haze
A5 Haze
Also known as: NL5 x Haze A, Northern Lights #5 x Haze A
Overview
A5 Haze is a legendary cannabis strain that represents the return of the mythical NL Haze A, originally created in the late 1980s by renowned breeder Neville Schoenmaker. This rare and highly prized strain features genetics combining Northern Lights #5 with Haze A, one of the original Haze males that Neville used for his groundbreaking breeding work. A5 Haze is a mostly sativa strain that can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors, requiring approximately 109 days flowering time and available only in feminized seeds from Karma Genetics.
The strain's rarity stems from the fact that Neville lost the Haze A male very early in his breeding program, meaning seeds were never produced in commercial quantities using this particular Haze A genetics. A5 Haze belongs to the elite family of Dutch Haze hybrids and is characterized by extremely trippy and devastating potency, high production, and authentic Dutch 'Old School' Haze aromatics with incensed, organic, and meaty profiles reminiscent of ancient Colombian sativas. Modern versions of A5 Haze, such as Killer A5 Haze, can reach THC levels as high as 30%, representing the upper limit of what cannabis plants can naturally produce, while maintaining the strain's legendary vigorous growth and high yields.

Growing Information
A5 Haze is a mostly sativa strain suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation with a long flowering time of approximately 109 days (15+ weeks). The strain is considered challenging and recommended for experienced to advanced growers due to its extended flowering period and sativa growth characteristics. Plants exhibit excellent vigor with a branched sativa structure featuring medium internode distance, contained and manageable size despite the typical sativa stretch. Despite being a tall sativa, it can produce great yields for such a sativa-dominant plant. Indoor plants that flower longer than 16 weeks may not be practical for most cultivators, though clones typically finish 2-3 weeks faster than seed plants, making lengthy phenotypes more manageable. In the Northern Hemisphere, outdoor plants would finish in November, while Southern Hemisphere cultivation expects harvest in May-June.
