Alexander the Grape
Alexander the Grape
Overview
Alexander the Grape is an indica-dominant hybrid strain (70% indica/30% sativa) created through crossing the delicious Candyland X Mendocino Purps strains developed by the Oregon Microgrowers Guild. Alexander the Grape cannabis strain is an indica-dominant strain that was created by Oregon Microgrowers Guild and represents their commitment to refining Oregon's classic cannabis genetics. After some searching we settled on a nice pheno of Candyland, dark purple buds, frost, and a very sweet syrupy candy smell. This was hit with pollen from our awesome Mendo Purps IBL.
This strain is distinguished by its distinctive appearance and aromatic profile. This strain grows short and stocky like a typical Indica with dark purple frosty buds, and grape candy odors and flavors. This bud has oversized olive green nugs with light amber undertones, thin orange hairs and a coating of tiny, golden-white crystal trichomes. Alexander the Grape has a flowering time of 50 to 55 days and develops heavy trichomes across its flowers. The strain's name accurately reflects its prominent grape flavor profile, which packs a super sweet and sugary juicy grape flavor with hints of sour candies upon exhale. The aroma is very similar, with a sweet grape cocktail overtone accented by sugary candies and sour, citrusy herbs. This strain embodies the Oregon Microgrowers Guild's philosophy of being the purveyors of the best strains that Oregon has to offer. We take these classics and cross them into new and wonderful flowers.

Alexander the Grape is an mostly indica from Oregon Microgrowers Guild and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors. The plant develops a rich purple color on its flowers and develops heavy trichomes across the flowers, making it visually appealing for growers.
