Aloha Limone
Aloha Limone
Also known as: Aloha Limon
Overview
Aloha Limone is a sativa-dominant hybrid (60% sativa/40% indica) cannabis strain created by Colorado Seed Inc., resulting from a cross between Hawaiian Sunrise and Nina Limone. Nina Limone itself is a cross of Super Lemon Haze and Rebel God Smoke (Cinderella 99 x Rugburn OG), while Hawaiian Sunrise contributes tropical heritage from Hawaii. Hawaiian Sunrise contributes its mysteriously sweet, yet spicy, tropical fruit flavor, creating a strain known for its exceptional citrus and tropical characteristics.
This strain is particularly notable for its distinctive aromatic profile, often described in colorful terms by users and breeders. The smell of Aloha Limone has been described as "a fruit tree rotting in the Kona sun". The strain tastes just like a fresh fruit salad, packing flavors of sweet lemon and fruits with a touch of earthiness, while the smell is of sweet pine and fruity kush, accented by an earthy pungency. The buds feature conical lumpy yellow-green nugs with lots of thin orange hairs and a coating of tiny frosty amber colored crystal trichomes. Plants produce absolutely gorgeous flowers with super photogenic color changes including orange and deep reds and yellows, with beautiful lime green, large calyx buds that mature in a variety of fall colors.

Growing Information
Aloha Limone can be grown indoors and outdoors, but indoor growing is recommended for the best results, with a flowering time of around 8 to 10 weeks and can produce a moderate to high yield of around 400-500 grams per square meter indoors. The strain has a sativa/indica ratio of 70/30, flowering time of 8-10 weeks, average height/stature, high yield, high bud density, and intermediate grow ease. Some growers note it can be a very slow grower and not easy for beginners, and the strain doesn't like heat. It requires a balanced nutrient regimen with higher nitrogen content during vegetative stage and higher phosphorus and potassium content during flowering stage. The strain responds well to training techniques such as topping, low-stress training, and scrogging. It is a tropical strain accustomed to warm Mediterranean climate where days are long, and cultivating in higher latitudes requires careful timing to avoid early winter or heavy rains.
