Ammi Haze
Ammi Haze
Also known as: Amnesia Haze, Ammi, Amnesiac Haze
Overview
Ammi Haze is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain that represents a UK-specific phenotype or naming variation of the internationally renowned Amnesia Haze. Incredibly popular in the UK where "Ammi" Haze seems to be a widespread UK staple and as common as the other popular UK strain "Cheese" and was for a time the most commonly seen commercial Sativa strains around. Originating in Holland and a true Dutch coffee shop classic still found on Amsterdam menus today, this strain shares the same legendary genetics as Amnesia Haze. This sativa-dominant hybrid is a descendant of a Jamaican sativa, a Laotian sativa, and the indica-dominant Afghan Hawaiian, with the ratio of sativa to indica being about 80:20, meaning this is a great strain for daytime use and clearheaded thinking. The strain has won multiple prestigious awards including 1st place in the 2004 Cannabis Cup and 1st place Sativa Cup 2012 and has become a staple in Amsterdam coffee shops. Very frosty, plentiful dense buds, Ammi haze takes on a sweet sativa aroma later in flower, displaying the classic characteristics that made Amnesia Haze legendary worldwide.

Growing Information
Ammi Haze does well both indoors and in greenhouses. Outdoors she is more suited to warmer Mediterranean climates due to her longer flowering period. Aztech Genetics's Ammi Haze is only available as feminized seeds with a flowering time of ±70 days for the photoperiod version, though Ammi Haze has a THC content of 23% plus and takes on average around 10-11 weeks flower. She is very apt for scrogging and low stress techniques. The strain is considered intermediate to advanced difficulty for growers due to its longer flowering period and sativa characteristics. She can do well outside but is more suited to warmer temperate climates due to her slightly longer flowering time.
