Amnesia Old Coffee is a 60% indica, 40% sativa hybrid strain created by Author Seeds for Spannabis 2020. This strain represents a cross of Amnesia X OG Kush Hashplant, with development beginning four years prior to its release. The genetics combine an original Hy-Pro elite Amnesia clone known for its fruity aroma compared to other Amnesia elite clones with OG Hashplant genetics selected from regular seeds obtained via the cannabiscafé forum in 2005.
The strain exhibits characteristics from both parents, with the Sativa's vigorous growth from Amnesia adding boost to the stocky, Indica-leaning OG Hashplant structure. Plants display very vigorous growth with relatively short flowering time compared to other Amnesia-related plants with the same hazy background. The buds are notable for their dense structure that becomes even denser with temperatures below 21°C during night periods, and some specimens develop purple pistils thicker than typical Amnesia due to Hashplant genetics.
