Amnesia White
Amnesia White
Also known as: White Amnesia
Overview
Amnesia White is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain (70% sativa/30% indica) created by White Label Seeds through crossing classic Haze genetics with Afghanica and Thai strains. This strain is not derived from the Amnesia and White Widow lineage as the name might suggest, but rather stems from the original Haze renowned for its tropical sativa energy. Developed as a modern interpretation of old-school Haze varieties, Amnesia White was bred to combine the psychedelic energy of Haze with the increased resin production and shortened flowering time of indica genetics, while incorporating Thai genetics to ensure a strong sativa effect. The strain gained recognition by winning 2nd Place for Best Haze Bio at the 2010 Amsterdam HighLife Cup and 2nd Place for Best Haze Hydro in 2014. Amnesia White produces tall, statuesque plants with pointy, resin-heavy buds that sparkle with trichomes like gemstones. The buds are described as super sticky with bright green coloration, completely covered in tiny amber hairs and coated with clear crystal trichomes. The strain is known for its electrifying, psychedelic effects that can cause kaleidoscopic contemplations and profound insights, though users are warned that they may experience actual short-term memory effects, living up to its 'amnesia' namesake.

Growing Information
Amnesia White is considered a moderately difficult strain to grow, best suited for intermediate to experienced cultivators. The flowering period spans 8-11 weeks (55-80 days), with outdoor harvest typically occurring in October-November. Indoor plants can reach heights of 140-180cm and can produce large yields of up to 21 ounces per square meter under optimal conditions. Outdoor cultivation requires sunny or Mediterranean climates, where plants can grow over 3 meters tall and yield 21-25 ounces per plant. The strain responds well to Sea of Green (SOG) and Screen of Green (SCROG) methods. Plants require good ventilation to prevent pests and mold, and benefit from adequate nutrition during their growth cycle. The strain shows good resistance to common pests like spiders and mites.
