Apollo 11 is a legendary cannabis strain created by renowned breeders Brothers Grimm Seeds in the 1990s. This hybrid represents a cross between Genius (a selected Jack Herer phenotype) and Cinderella 99, combining the best qualities of both parent strains. The strain gained popularity during the early 2000s and was considered one of the classic genetics of that era. After a hiatus when Brothers Grimm stopped production, the strain has been reintroduced with modern breeding techniques while maintaining its original characteristics. Apollo 11 is known for its exceptionally fast flowering time and high resin production, making it attractive to both commercial and home cultivators.
The strain produces dense, compact buds that are heavily covered in trichomes, giving them a frosty, crystalline appearance reminiscent of lunar dust.
