This strain represents a selection towards the Genius phenotype from FET of Spice Brothers' selection towards the G pheno, from a large population of original Brothers Grimm Apollo 11 stock. The original Apollo 11 was created by Brothers Grimm through crossing the Genius female with a Cinderella 99 male, where Genius was a big-yielding, lime-citrus scented female clone named "Genius" due to her clear, energetic, thought-provoking high. Bodhi's version specifically focuses on preserving the Genius characteristics that made this lineage special.
The strain is notable for its extremely fast flowering time of 45-55 days, making it one of the fastest growing sativa-dominant plants. Apollo 11 produces beautiful frosty extraterrestrial buds with peach hairs and the distinctive aroma of pineapple Cheetos. One noted weakness is that the plant structure can be weak, producing popcorn to baseball-sized heads. However, when grown properly, 99% of the plant will be covered in shiny trichomes, featuring pretty peach hairs with dark neon green color, covered in resin that gives a greyish tint when light hits it. The plant is extremely sticky and resinous, requiring gloves during handling and frequent scissor cleaning.
