Arjan's Strawberry Haze

Arjan's Strawberry Haze was created by Arjan Roskam and introduced to the market in 2006, following its first prize victory at the Green House Very Important Smokers Panel in 2005. This acclaimed sativa-dominant hybrid represents the crossbreeding expertise of Green House Seed Company, co-founded by Arjan Roskam and Scott Blakey in Amsterdam in 1994. While the exact parentage remains unknown, it is believed to be derived from combining Northern Lights #5, Swiss Sativa (the famous "Erdbeer" or strawberry strain), Haze, and Kali Mist genetics. The strain results from the mix of selected Swiss Sativa with its sweet strawberry characteristics and NL5 Haze Mist, creating an amazing and complex fragrance of metallic strawberry.

The buds of Strawberry Haze smell distinctly of strawberries and provide a sweet taste, characterized by a tall plant structure with long branches. The buds exhibit a dense and medium-sized structure, covered in fiery orange pistils weaving through lime-green calyxes, with trichomes that shimmer on the surface giving a frosty and resinous texture. Strawberry Haze is known as a simple plant to grow and maintain, adaptable to humidity, with a flowering time of approximately 10 weeks. The strain has gained recognition for its complex flavor profile combining citric and strawberry notes, with the Swiss Sativa parent contributing strong strawberry/blueberry flavors.
