Atomic
Atomic
Also known as: Atomic Bomb
Overview
Atomic is an indica-dominant hybrid with 70% indica and 30% sativa genetics created through crossing the classic (OG Kush X Chemdawg) X THC Bomb strains. The strain was bred as a cross between a Chem Dawg/OG Kush hybrid and the THC Bomb strains by Bomb Seeds, and this breeding heritage hints at a mostly Afghani lineage. Bomb Seeds combined a hand selected original US clone of the legendary Chemdawg with a hard hitting intensely flavored Kush from the Emerald Triangle, then crossed this with their award winning THC Bomb to create a truly knockout strain.
Atomic buds have fluffy olive green nugs with dark orange hairs and a coating of frosty amber crystal trichomes. Buds will be large and plump with layers and layers of crystal upon crystal. The strain is known for a super spicy woody flavor with hints of skunky diesel upon exhale and an aroma that is very earthy and spicy with a skunky pungent overtone accented by fuel and pine. It mixes intense fuel and citrus aromas with hints of menthol and berries.
Atomic is renowned for its exceptional potency, with an insanely potent high thanks to its crazy high 26-30% average THC level. The stone is outrageous, beginning with an immediate headrush, melting into a euphoric yet full bodied stone which is long lasting and very satisfying making it an ideal medical strain. Beginners be warned as this is an extremely potent strain that requires caution and responsible use.

Growing Information
This strain is fairly easy to grow and is of medium height. Indoors flowering time can be as little as 8 weeks, though flowering typically ranges from 8-9 weeks. Plant height ranges from medium (80-150cm) and yields are high at 450-550g/m². Outdoor harvest occurs around October. The stretch is pretty aggressive so a low ceiling would not be recommended. This plant responds well to gentle tipping of the main stalk for training and to control height, but does not respond well to outright chopping of the main stalk. It is generally rated as moderately easy to cultivate, with resilience to feeding variation and good response to training.
