Atomic Sour is a cannabis hybrid created by US seed bank Dank Genetics that combines two well-known strains of great potency and flavor: Atomic OG and Sour Dubble. A mostly sativa hybrid, Atomic Sour grows vigorously from the very start thanks to the OG Kush genes it contains. The strain represents a sophisticated breeding achievement that merges the intense fuel-forward characteristics of Atomic OG with the sweet and sour complexity of Sour Dubble, itself a cross of Sour Diesel and Sour Bubble.
The plant exhibits predominantly vertical growth, although it responds well to pruning and training techniques to promote bushier plants. Atomic Sour buds have spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with thick orange hairs and a coating of frosty chunky bright white crystal trichomes. The strain has gained recognition for its mixture of diesel and fuel notes combined with sour touches that give a mouthwatering and pungent bouquet. Can be cultivated easily in all growing systems and all media, coco, hydro, soil and always gives copious harvests of top shelf buds. The flowering period lasts from 60 to 70 days indoors (9 weeks), with a yield of 400 to 500g per m2 of fat, hard buds covered in resin. Outdoor harvest occurs in October with yields over 600g per plant. Plants release a powerful smell that makes it necessary to use carbon filters or other odor-prevention methods. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation with medium difficulty level.
