Auto Blackberry Kush is an indica-dominant autoflowering hybrid strain created by crossing the classic genetics of Afghani × Blackberry with ruderalis genetics to produce an autoflowering variant. This strain maintains approximately 60% indica, 20% sativa, and 20% ruderalis genetics, resulting in a compact plant with excellent autoflowering characteristics. Developed by Dutch Passion and other breeders, this strain has gained recognition for its ease of cultivation and exceptional quality, even winning 2nd prize at the Highlife Cup 2018 in the autoflower category.
The strain is renowned for its stunning visual appeal, featuring dense, resinous buds that display vibrant purple hues ranging from deep purple to dark blue, and sometimes even near-black coloration. These purple characteristics become more pronounced when exposed to cooler nighttime temperatures during flowering. The buds are characterized by their compact, pepper-shaped structure with thick red-orange hairs and a heavy coating of frosty white crystal trichomes, creating exceptional bag appeal.
