The genetics are based on crossing the original Mokum's Tulip (which is Gelato x Sherbet) with Auto Colorado Cookies to create this stable autoflowering variant. Named after "Mokum," the old Hebrew/Yiddish word for Amsterdam, this strain represents premium American cookie genetics adapted for autoflowering cultivation. The strain was created in response to customer demand for an autoflowering version of the popular photoperiod Mokum's Tulip.

Auto Mokum's Tulip is characterized by compact, sturdy plants that typically reach 50-100cm in height and complete their full lifecycle from seed to harvest in approximately 11-12 weeks. The buds are notably dense, compact, and heavily coated with trichomes, producing a thick layer of resin that makes them excellent for concentrate production including ice-o-lator hash and rosin pressing. The strain displays beautiful coloration, with two of its four main phenotypes showing purple hues during flowering. The plants develop strong branches that support the heavy, compact buds well, making this strain relatively easy to grow for both beginners and experienced cultivators.
