This autoflowering hybrid is the result of crossing New York City Diesel with ruderalis genetics, preserving the excellent aroma and sweet citrus flavor characteristic of Diesel genetics. The original NYC Diesel lineage stems from a cross between Mexican Sativa and Afghani landrace genetics, with approximately 40% Indica and 60% Sativa genetics in the final composition. The autoflowering version typically contains THC levels around 14% though some phenotypes can reach up to 20% THC. This strain has earned recognition as a five-time Cannabis Cup winner in the early 2000s, establishing its reputation in the cannabis community.
