Auto Sour Diesel is an autoflowering version of the legendary Sour Diesel strain, created by crossing the original Sour Diesel genetics with ruderalis to produce a fast-finishing, automatically flowering variety. Sour Diesel is classified as a Sativa-dominant hybrid, known for its energizing and uplifting effects while the autoflower version results in a strain that offers an uplifting and energizing high, typical of Sativa strains, while being easier to grow and quicker to harvest thanks to its Ruderalis genetics. The strain maintains the classic genetic lineage of Chemdawg 91 and Super Skunk, though some sources also suggest Northern Lights in its background. Auto Sour Diesel preserves the signature characteristics that made the original famous - its distinctive diesel-fuel aroma, energizing cerebral effects, and potent psychoactive properties.
The buds are typically dense and elongated, with a vibrant green color often accompanied by a generous covering of orange pistils and a glistening layer of trichomes.
