Auto White Russian
Auto White Russian
Also known as: Autoflowering White Russian, White Russian Auto, AWR
Overview
Auto White Russian is an autoflowering hybrid cannabis strain developed by incorporating ruderalis genetics into the legendary White Russian lineage. Originally bred by Serious Seeds, this strain represents a cross between their acclaimed White Russian (itself a cross of AK-47 and White Widow) and Lowryder #2. The strain is considered one of the sturdiest cannabis varieties in existence, combining the vigor and adaptivity of both White Widow and AK-47 genetics. Serious Seeds spent over two years developing this autoflowering version, making it their first entry into the autoflowering market.
The strain maintains the potent characteristics of its parent genetics while offering the convenience of autoflowering cultivation. Plants grow quite uniform to a final height of 70 to 90 cm, with end height and yield depending mostly on how much light the plant receives during its life cycle. All plants are beautifully covered in a layer of trichomes, reflecting the White Russian lineage's reputation for resin production. The breeder acknowledges that while the strain's flavor and potency are excellent, it still produces two different phenotypes, indicating ongoing development work. This strain has become particularly popular among both novice and experienced growers due to its forgiving nature and reliable autoflowering characteristics.

Growing Information
This autoflowering strain has a quick flowering time of 7-9 weeks from germination, making it ideal for beginners and experienced growers alike. Most plants can yield 60 to 80 grams or more, with better results achieved through increased light exposure during the plant's life cycle. Seeds should be planted directly into final containers rather than transplanted, as autoflowering plants can be sensitive to root disturbance. Plants benefit from 18-20 hours of light per day, with LED lights recommended for indoor cultivation. The strain is resistant to molds and insect pests but may need assistance during dry and hot weather. Outdoor plants are typically ready for harvest by mid-August. Using larger pots (at least 3 gallons) allows for better root development and potentially higher yields.
