AutoBlueberry is an autoflowering hybrid strain that combines the legendary Blueberry genetics with Cannabis ruderalis. Originally developed by crossing a selected Blueberry female with indica-dominant ruderalis genetics, this strain underwent selective backcrossing up to the F4 generation to create a fully automatic version. Dutch Passion worked closely with DJ Short, the original Blueberry breeder, to introduce these genetics to the European market in the 1970s-80s. The strain maintains the signature blueberry flavor and relaxing effects of its famous parent while offering the convenience of autoflowering characteristics. AutoBlueberry typically shows an indica-dominant structure (70% indica, 20% sativa, 10% ruderalis) with compact growth and dense, resinous buds. Plants often display beautiful purple and blue hues in the flowers and leaves, especially when exposed to cooler temperatures during the flowering phase. The strain is renowned for its authentic blueberry aroma and taste, making it a favorite among cannabis connoisseurs who appreciate fruity, sweet profiles.
