Bag of Oranges is a feminized S1 strain created by Useful Seeds, developed from the breeder's quest to create a 'super orange strain' after being disappointed by other orange-named varieties. The strain was created by crossing Bodhi's Blood Orange (selected for a Cali-O leaning phenotype) with Sin City's Tangerine Power male. The breeder discovered an exceptional orange female that impressed him significantly, describing it as producing 'straight up orange zest, kinda like the orange oil that comes out of an orange peel' rather than artificial candy orange flavors. The original plant was reversed and shared with friends, who 'have been very impressed' with the results. The strain exhibits two distinct phenotypes: a dark, almost black phenotype with good orange smell and 'green pheno' which remains green throughout flower and has intense orange peel, citrus zest characteristics that carry from flower to joint.
