This parent produces both early-finishing phenotypes (late August/early September) and later hazy phenotypes (late September/early October). The Freezeland parent is an indica-dominant strain originally based on a Friesland clone from Quebec, which was subsequently crossed with Pluton and then backcrossed to create a hardy, weather-resistant variety particularly suited for northern outdoor cultivation.
