This strain is a cross between Seed Junky Genetics' Wedding Punch and Mephisto's own 3 Bears OG, combining Wedding Punch's unique fruit punch aroma that "sliced through the noise like a Louis Armstrong trumpet solo" with the structural integrity and density of 3 Bears OG. The breeding project began in 2021 during one of Mephisto's largest photoperiod growouts, where Wedding Punch stood out among numerous contenders.

This strain exhibits distinctive characteristics including deep purple buds, fiery orange pistils, and glistening trichome coverage. Beary Berry Punch displays 3 Bears OG-style growth patterns with massive fan leaves initially, then vigorous upward growth through mid-veg and pre-flower, developing tight internodal spacing with dense golf-ball-sized nugs. A notable genetic quirk is the "tacoing" of leaves that curl upwards, which is not due to light stress but rather an inherited characteristic that doesn't affect growth, yield, or flavor.
