What is the Birds of Paradise strain?
Birds of Paradise is a hybrid cannabis strain with up to 28.0% THC, known for its uplifted effects and berry and blueberry flavor profile.
Birds of Paradise is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid strain (60% sativa/40% indica) created through crossing the potent Kali Snapple X Blue Heron strains. The team at Dynasty Genetics created Birds of Paradise as a combination of Kali Snapple and Blue Heron, with over 12 years of accumulative efforts invested into the development process, Birds of Paradise has an incredibly unique terpene profile. The mother of this strain is our Kali Snapple (Pineapple/Snowbud x pre 2000 Kali Mist), which expresses tropical smells of pineapple/fruit, which blend excellently with undertones of fuel and skunk. Blue Heron was the male used, and he contributes a beautiful terpene profile ranging from blueberry/fruit/rose/ incense.
The strain is notable for its striking visual appearance, featuring tapered spade-shaped bright neon green nugs with thin amber hairs and a coating of tiny frosty white crystal trichomes. At full maturity the cultivar produces resin-covered buds with green and purple coloring. Trichome coverage is above average and on some plants will look like optical illusions when they are ripe. The strain offers a sweet and sour tropical pineapple citrus flavor with a lightly spicy tangerine exhale, while the aroma is of fresh berries and sweet skunk with a sour citrusy overtone that intensifies as the nugs are burned away.
