Black Blood

Black Blood is a cannabis strain developed by Medicann Seeds, created by crossing Blue Blood with Black Domina, resulting in a 60% Indica / 40% Sativa hybrid with 18% THC and 5% CBD content. The strain was specifically bred by crossing Medicann's Blue Blood (which contains OG Kush genetics that the company has maintained since 1998) with Black Domina, which speeds up flowering times and introduces amazing resin production for bigger crops and higher yields. This plant produces buds that have the strength and density of the OG but still have that wonderful smell and taste of the Blueberry. Black Blood has been bred to contain higher percentages of CBD or cannabidiol, the part of cannabis now considered to be most responsible for cancer treatments, nausea, as an anti-inflammatory, and for many other symptoms. CBD has been found to provide physical relief and actually works to counteract the psychoactivity of THC, allowing patients a much desired element of clarity unassociated with so many other types of cannabis. The backbone of Black Blood's genetics is Medicann's own Blue Blood, which is basically a hybrid of Blueberry and a choice phenotype of OG Kush they've been hoarding since 1998.
