Black Bomb
Black Bomb
Also known as: Black Bomba
Overview
Black Bomb is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain developed by Philosopher Seeds, created through crossing a famous Black Domina '98 clone with their Tropimango male. This 80% indica, 20% sativa strain was specifically bred to combine the compact, vigorous growth patterns of Black Domina with added sweetness and production from Tropimango. The strain won 3rd prize in the indoor bio category at the M.F.Association Cannabis Cup winter tasting in 2012, establishing its reputation among cannabis enthusiasts. Black Bomb exhibits a stable and homogeneous genetic profile, producing plants with remarkable consistency in appearance, aroma, and effects. The strain develops a robust, compact structure with little branching and short internodal spacing, making it particularly well-suited for Sea of Green (SOG) cultivation techniques. Plants produce dense, resin-coated buds with a thick layer of trichomes that make them excellent for extraction purposes. The flowers are noted for their substantial density and weight, despite the plant's compact size. Curing for a minimum of two weeks to two months is recommended to fully develop the strain's complex flavor profile and aromatic qualities.

Growing Information
Black Bomb is considered easy to grow with good resistance to pests and diseases. Indoor flowering time is 55-60 days (7-9 weeks) with yields of 500-600g/m². Outdoor harvest occurs in early October in the Northern Hemisphere, with potential yields of 500-2000g per plant. The strain requires low humidity during late flowering as it is sensitive to mold due to dense bud structure. Optimal production achieved with 25-30 plants per square meter in SOG setups. Nutrient increase recommended between weeks 3-6 of flowering. Requires at least 3 weeks vegetative growth due to short internodal spacing. Not recommended for SCROG techniques due to compact structure.
