Black Cherry Pie BX is a predominantly indica-leaning hybrid strain developed by In House Genetics as a backcrossed refinement of their original Black Cherry Pie line. This strain represents the F5 generation with genetics listed as Black Cherry Pie f4 x Black Cherry Pie f4, creating a more stable and consistent version of the original. The original Black Cherry Pie lineage traces back to Blackberry Kush and Cherry Pie, though the BX version has been selectively bred for enhanced traits. Known for its magenta colors throughout the plant, this strain produces some of the best tasting concentrates with an old school skunky sweet smell and flavor that makes your mouth water, combined with short flower times and big yields. The buds display dense pepper-shaped emerald green nugs with golden undertones, thin orange hairs and a coating of golden-tinted white crystal trichomes, often showing a mix of dark green and purple coloration with a frosty layer of trichomes and vibrant orange hairs. The flowers exhibit purple and lime green colors with an amazing aroma and taste of oldschool cherry skunk, with concentrates and flowers providing exceptional flavor.

Black Cherry Pie BX is mostly indica and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of 60-75 days (approximately 68 days average). The strain is easy to grow and responds well to topping, tending to stay short and squat. Growers report it has strong resistance and produces nice tight buds without PGRs, absolutely packed with trichomes and burns clean. Expected yield is heavy with short to medium stretch. Plants grow short and bushy, preferring semi-humid conditions with 70-80°F during the day and 55-65°F at night, with an 8-9 week flowering period.
