Overview
Black Forrest is a pure sativa strain from Kingdom Organic Seeds that requires extreme expertise to cultivate, with a flowering time of 16 weeks and growth characteristics that can become monstrous without proper attention to detail. This strain is an F2 (bx1) generation cross between Cherry Bomb (F3 male) and Vietnamese Black Jungle Sativa, representing a soft backcross to the original Vietnamese landrace genetics. The original Black Forrest F1 was created nearly 30 years ago by breeder KOS, who later found an exceptional Black Forrest female and paired it with a stellar Vietnamese Black male from 45-year-old seeds sent from Vietnam over three decades ago. The South East Asian genetics really shine through in this strain, and Hemingway wrote about Vietnamese Jungle Sativa for good reason - there's nothing even close to it in smells, flavors and effects. This version leverages the wild side of cannabis with insane potency, seriously edgy and full of energy, with effects lasting several hours and taking up to 20 minutes to set in after smoking, while maintaining about 90% of its Jungle Sativa landrace status.

Only recommended for experienced breeders and growers. Flowers for 16 weeks and will become a monster without attention to detail. Indoor growers without skills should start flowering these much smaller than anticipated. For those familiar with wild-child sativas in containers, this is an alpha strain with ridiculous growth rates when happy. Outdoors in the right environment, she will get way off the chain and much larger than anticipated. KOS recommends letting plants get 75 days old from seed before initiating flowering to ensure maximum resin production. Always grow organically if possible for best smells and flavors. Straight soil germination is highly recommended. If grown properly for the full 16-week flowering time, this strain will be unforgettable. Taking her at 14 weeks would still provide a fairly powerful sativa, but the last 2 weeks take the potency way up.
