Black Indica is an indica dominant hybrid strain (80% indica/20% sativa) created through a potent cross of the classic Pure Kush X Afghanistan strains. Named for its heavy high and super dank appearance, Black Indica is definitely one bud that any fan of relaxation needs to try. This strain was developed by Crop King Seeds and represents one of the most authentic expressions of traditional Afghan-influenced genetics available to modern cultivators.
This bud has spade-shaped super dark olive green nugs with deep purple-black undertones, vivid orange hairs and a coating of deep purple-tinted white crystal trichomes. The buds are covered in trichomes and towards harvest time if you keep the temps low they turn a dark purple on the buds, tips of leaves, and even the stalk. The hairs on the buds will start to turn orange starting on the top and working their way down to the lower buds. This is a good indicator of ripeness on this strain. The strain's distinctive dark coloration comes from anthocyanin pigments that develop under cooler growing conditions, giving it its characteristic "black" appearance that sets it apart from typical green cannabis varieties.
