Blackberry Sugarcane (also called Blackberry Sugar Cane) is a hybrid cannabis strain created by Freak Genetics as an F1 cross between In-House Genetics' Deluxe Sugar Cane (Slurmint IX #7 x Platinum) and Jordan of the Islands' Blackberry Hammer (Jinx Proof Genetics' 9 lb Hammer x JOTI's Blackberry Kush). This strain is classified as mostly indica-dominant and can be cultivated indoors, outdoors, and in greenhouses with a flowering time of approximately 60 days. The strain has never been made available as feminized seeds and is only offered as regular seeds. The strain was bred using a standout male that continued the work with the Blackberry Hammer lineup, resulting in a potent and frosted variety. However, some users report mixed results with the strain, with one grower noting that despite vigorous growth, the flavor and aroma profiles were lacking, producing cut grass-like smells instead of expected blackberry characteristics. Blackberry Sugarcane has also been released in F2 form and has been used extensively as breeding stock for other strains by Freak Genetics.
