Overview
Blue Cheddar #1 is the result of a breeding project between B-S-B Genetics and Kaliman Seeds. This indica-dominant hybrid strain was created through a batch of regular Blueberry seeds from the Dutch Passion collection which originates from an original 1970's Blueberry phenotype crossed with Cheese #1 (true 1989 un-hybridised UK Exodus Cheese). The hybridisation was most successful when the Blueberry pollen was applied to the female Cheese #1 which resulted in a consistent batch of feminised seeds after a rigorous selection process.
The resulting "Blue Cheddar #1" strain is a heavy yielding variety with an intense and powerful stone that produces a sweet Blueberry taste with the pungent aroma of Cheese meaning carbon filtration is essential for indoor grows. Two timeless classics of the cannabis world came together to create Blue Cheddar #1 and they gave it plenty of old-school vibes. By marrying Exodus Cheese and a '70s Blueberry by DJ Short, growers achieved near perfection—a pungent, potent strain that hits the spot every time.
