Blue Cheese itself was originally created by crossing a Blueberry male with an original UK Cheese female, giving it a sweet, fruity and berry scent with a noticeably musky undertone typical of the original cheese. The breeding of Blue Cheese with SCBDx has resulted in an explosion of Cheese and Pine flavors which once tasted is never forgotten, with the strain exhibiting a 50% Indica / 50% Sativa ratio according to breeder specifications.

This feminized strain can be cultivated indoors, outdoors and greenhouse environments, with a flowering time of approximately 55-60 days (58 days average). The strain is described as having 'More THC than CBD' despite being crossed with the high-CBD SCBDx parent. The SCBDx parent strain is notable for its extremely high CBD production, with ratios of 24-26 CBD : 1 THC and maximum molecular weight production of CBD at 17+%, making it one of the highest CBD-producing strains discovered.
