Blue Gelato has an indoor flowering phase that lasts around 9-10 weeks, while outdoors this plant needs to be chopped during mid-to-end October. In terms of growth patterns, Blue Gelato can reach up to 200cm in stature and deliver up to 3000 grams per plant when treated with appropriate care outdoors. Indoor plants reach 110-150cm with a potential yield of up to 700-800g/m². This feminized hybrid is 60% indica and will usually stay under 150cm (4'11") in height, however if given enough room and vegetation time, plants can easily reach 200cm (6'6"). You can expect to grow a sturdy plant that grows fast and vigorous with great side branching. The strain doesn't tolerate cold well - if temperatures drop below 15 degrees at night, plants begin to slow down and leaves turn yellow and fall.
