Overview
Blue Power IX2 is a limited edition 10-year anniversary release from Sin City Seeds, representing a second-generation inbred backcross of the original Blue Power strain. The original Blue Power was created as a mostly Indica combination of Sour Double, Master Kush, and White Moonshine, originally developed in the summer of 2010. This refined backcross further stabilizes the genetics and ensures consistent traits across plants, representing the culmination of a decade of selective breeding. The plants grow sturdy and bushy with tight node spacing and strong branching, producing dense, resin-heavy buds coated in icy trichomes that develop hues of purple and dark green near the end of flowering. Blue Power has been used to help create some of the most popular strains of today's modern US genetics, including Apples N Bananas, Wedding Cake, Kush Mints, Animal Mints, and Ice Cream Cake.
