Blue Snowdog
Blue Snowdog
Also known as: Blue Snow Dog
Overview
Blue Snowdog is a balanced 50/50 hybrid cannabis strain created by Oregon Green Seed through crossing a Snowdog BX1 mother with Breeder Steve's sativa-dominant Blue Satellite 2.2 male. This strain represents an improvement on the original Snowdog genetics, maintaining all the potency, complexity, and depth that Snowdog is known for while adding a faster flowering time and improved mold resistance. The original Snowdog lineage traces back to REZ and was further developed by Esben at Hybrids from Hell in Denmark, who infused mold resistance and speed through an outcross to his HP genetics (Core's Amnesia crossed with Danish and Swiss landrace genetics), then backcrossed to the original Snowdog mother. By introducing the Blue Satellite 2.2 genetics, Blue Snowdog gains enhanced berry and forest phenotypes in its flavor profile while maintaining the medicinal qualities and potency of its parent strains. The strain has an increased chance of producing purple phenotypes with cooler temperatures, adding to its visual appeal. Blue Snowdog is particularly well-suited for Pacific Northwest outdoor cultivation due to its excellent mold resistance and adaptability to varying weather conditions.

Growing Information
Blue Snowdog is considered an easy grower suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. The strain demonstrates excellent resistance to mold and has little to no nutrient sensitivity, making it forgiving for growers. Flowering time is approximately 8 weeks with yields ranging from medium-high to high. Outdoor plants typically reach 5-7 feet in height, while indoor height is controllable through training techniques. The strain has a low to medium-low odor profile during cultivation. It's particularly recommended for Pacific Northwest outdoor growers due to its mold resistance and fast finishing time. The plant benefits from good air circulation and regular monitoring during the flowering phase.
