Blueberry IX/IC
Blueberry IX/IC
Also known as: Blueberry IX, Blueberry IC
Overview
Blueberry IX/IC is an indica-dominant cannabis strain developed by Riot Seeds as "THE PINNACLE OF 5+ YEARS OF NONSTOP BLUEBERRY BREEDING TO GET TO THIS POINT" representing a refined inbred cross of classic Blueberry genetics. The strain was created using a carefully selected female from DJ Short's original Blueberry line, chosen for its "slight berry but more funky smells, with the traditional Blueberry afghani structure – short, squat, slow growing, weird nitrogen responses, but absolutely beautiful" with "purple striped stalk with magenta hues and deep purple and blue hued buds". The genetics trace to DJ Short Blueberry (F4 Seed Pop) crossed with Blue Bonnet, representing extensive breeding work to stabilize and enhance the classic Blueberry traits. The strain exhibits "deep purple and blue hued buds" with "deep blueberry jam notes" in its terpene profile. While maintaining the traditional Afghan structure with "big broad leaves" it delivers effects that are "very functional, clear headed while also having insanely amazing anti anxiety properties" rather than the heavy sedation typically expected from broad-leafed Afghan genetics.

Growing Information
Flowering time of approximately 53 days (7-8 weeks), suitable for indoor, outdoor, and greenhouse cultivation. "These are not power yielders, but they can be trained and grown to a healthy size in veg to produce very well". Plants exhibit traditional Blueberry Afghan structure being "short, squat, slow growing" with "weird nitrogen responses". Harvest timing is flexible at 7-9 weeks "depending when you like your resin glands harvested". Considered moderate difficulty but requires patience due to slower growth patterns inherited from Afghan genetics.
