Brandywine
Brandywine
Overview
Brandywine is an indica-dominant hybrid cannabis strain bred by Dungeons Vault Genetics. It was created by crossing Pink Champagne (also known as Phantom) with Grandpa's Breath. Pink Champagne is itself a hybrid of Granddaddy Purple and Cherry Pie, while Grandpa's Breath is a cross of OG Kush Breath with Tahoe OG and Granddaddy Purple. This strain won 1st Place Indica at the 2017 Dope Awards in Seattle, WA.
Brandywine is described as a mostly indica strain that can be cultivated indoors and outdoors, with a flowering time of approximately 60 days (8-9 weeks). The strain is characterized as short and bushy with purple coloration. It has a very sweet, penetrating smell that is described as enticing. The strain emits a delicate tea aroma with notes of hops and Chardonnay grapes. Physically, Brandywine buds are small, dense, and lumpy with dark olive green nugs featuring dark amber hairs and a coating of super frosty lavender-tinted crystal trichomes.

Growing Information
Brandywine grows well both indoors and outdoors as well as in greenhouse environments. Indoor flowering time is 8-9 weeks (56-63 days), while outdoor harvest is ready in late September to early October in the northern hemisphere. The strain may not be ideal for beginners due to its high THC content and difficult growing requirements. Its potency can be overwhelming for inexperienced users, and growing can be challenging for novice cultivators. The strain produces short and bushy plants with purple coloration. Brandywine is reported as unavailable commercially as seeds or clones from some sources.
