Breakout is a hybrid cannabis strain developed by Gage Green Genetics through crossing Blue Diesel with Joseph OG. An instant favorite amongst patients, the Breakout offers a selection of authentic diesel fuel aromas selections mixed with a waft of blueberry pie. Testers reported houses smelling like a "berry plane crash" from just a few seedplants, indicating the strain's potent aromatic profile. This bud has sparkling and super sticky bright lime green nugs with vivid orange hairs and a coating of glittering amber-tinted crystal trichomes.
The strain's lineage combines the Blue Diesel clone from the Bay Area, believed to be Blueberry x NYCD, with Joseph OG, an indica-forward hybrid bred from Underdog OG genetics. The Blue Diesel was pollinated at the end of the 2012 outdoor season after experiencing phenomenal smells and growth. Breakout is described as mostly indica and can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 49 days.
