The strain was created through collaboration between Mass Medical Strains and Katsu Seeds, where Mass Medical was gifted Pre-98 Bubba Kush from Katsu to cross with their signature Star Pupil. Star Pupil itself originates from Thai/Afghan/Pakistani genetics and is known for producing fully purple flowers from early in the flowering cycle. Bubba Pupil exhibits copious trichome production and powerful aroma, featuring sweet bubba chocolatey coffee flavors mixed with pupil funk.
