Overview
C-99 IBL is a mostly sativa from GreenMan Organic Seeds and can be cultivated indoors and outdoors, with genetics from Brothers Gromm Cinderella 99 IBL. C99 comes from a long inbred line (IBL), meaning it has been carefully inbred over many generations to maintain specific traits—or, possibly backcrossed/selfed in the past. The original Cinderella 99 story begins in 1996, when MrSoul discovered seeds in a bud of Jack Herer bought at "Sensi Smile" coffeeshop in Amsterdam, with one seed producing a very special female called "Princess" that had devastatingly psychoactive resin and stayed short, compact with a heavenly aroma of tropical fruit. Each generation exhibited a major jump in potency: P.50 was rather mellow, P.75 has a well-balanced body/mind high with a citrus flavor, Cinderella 88 is cerebral and paralyzing with a tropical fruit flavor, and Cinderella 99 is renowned for the fruity flavor and speedy, scary high inherited from Princess. The IBL designation indicates this particular line has been stabilized through multiple generations of selective breeding to maintain consistent characteristics. The resulting strain is 85% sativa and 15% indica, making it well-known for its energetic, euphoric effects and high THC content, particularly renowned for its ability to deliver sativa-like effects with an impressively fast flowering time (usually 7–9 weeks).

C99 offers a low to average yield and size, described as petite, with about 25% of the females actually yielding okay. Plants need a flowering time of approximately 50 days and can be cultivated indoors. Flowering time is 56-63 days, suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation. Indoors, plants started at 18 inches will finish at about 48 inches tall, ideal for SOG or SCROG setups with support from tomato cages or stakes. Outdoors, with proper pruning, can grow into giant sized bushes. C99 is generally not recommended for outdoor growing as its long inbred lineage makes it susceptible to environmental stresses like parasites and mold, requiring a clean growing environment free from pests and high humidity. Most long IBLs need fairly pristine environmental conditions. C99 thrives with added silica, calcium, and magnesium. Difficulty level is moderate to advanced due to IBL sensitivity to environmental conditions.
