C5 Haze x Kali China
C5 Haze x Kali China
Also known as: C5 Haze x KC
Overview
C5 Haze x Kali China is a limited edition feminized strain developed by ACE Seeds as their first hybrid using the legendary C5 Haze clone. The C5 parent was bred and selected by Neville Schoenmakers in the late 1980s and preserved by Yo Sammy before being gifted to ACE Seeds. C5 Haze itself is a cross between Northern Lights #5 and Haze C, representing one of the most influential F1 sativa/indica hybrids in modern cannabis breeding that became the foundation for many Dutch Haze varieties of the 1990s. The Kali China parent is a 75% indica hybrid developed by ACE Seeds that combines Kali Mist sativa with China Yunnan indica, inheriting stimulating effects from its sativa lineage and fast flowering traits from the indica side. This polyhybrid maintains the large, well-branched sativa structure and high yields of the original C5 while benefiting from Kali China's complex terpene profile featuring incense, fruity, and hashish notes that complement C5's classic Thai citrus and spicy flavors.

Growing Information
Indoor flowering time ranges from 9-13 weeks depending on phenotype, with harvest times varying by individual plant characteristics. Outdoor cultivation is ready for harvest between late October and early November in the northern hemisphere, and the strain adapts well to hot climates and mild autumn conditions. Yields are consistently high and can be truly astounding with proper care, with production far superior to other sativa x Kali China hybrids. Indoor cultivation benefits from strong light intensity and abundant feeding, with excellent suitability for SOG and SCROG methods due to great main cola yields and vigorous response to pruning. The strain produces relatively variable offspring due to extreme heterosis, allowing growers to find different expressions and making it ideal for those who prefer phenotypic variety. The plant shows high resistance to spider mites, powder mildew, botrytis, whitefly, and cold, with average-high heat resistance.
