Ken Estes, the creator of the legendary GDP, was looking for a less sedating strain compared to GDP. Estes chose a Cookies strain due to its mold resistance and low-maintenance in the grow room. Estes crossed a male GDP plant with a female phenotype of Bay Platinum Cookies. The Candyland cannabis strain is visually stunning with vibrant buds that are a sight to behold. As a hybrid, it combines the best traits from both its parent strains, Granddaddy Purple and Bay Platinum Cookies, resulting in dense nugs.
