Cannoli
Cannoli
Overview
Cannoli is a cross between Alphakronik and Exodus Cheese, with a pedigree that includes Chem D, Skunk #1, and Cindy 99. Developed by the culinary strain wizards at Alphakronik Genes, the same breeders who brought us strains like Raspberry Crisp and Peanut Butter Parfait, Cannoli takes its place as another cannabis confectionery strain. This combination results in a plant that grows with indica dominance, commonly described as a 60/40 or 70/30 indica-leaning hybrid. The strain emerged as part of the broader dessert-forward cannabis movement that gained prominence from the late 2010s onward, capitalizing on consumer enthusiasm for confectionary profiles that deliver both comfort and novelty. Cannoli is known for producing large, tight, and densely packed colas that tend to fade into purple and red hues close to harvest time. The buds have the classic plump, Christmas tree cone structure when properly cured, with purple coloration covering the outside of the buds while leaving the inside a lighter green with streaks of red.

Growing Information
Cannoli grows to a medium height and works great in an indoor grow setting, finishing the flowering period in about 8-9 weeks (65-70 days). The strain can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors. Difficulty level is moderate, suitable for intermediate growers who can manage its indica-dominant growth pattern. The plant tends to grow outward more than other crosses due to its Exodus Cheese genetics, and early tying and bending of branches helps make the structure more rigid for flowering. Using appropriate amounts of beneficial bacteria and fungi with this cross will bring out the maximum amount of flavor. Expected yields are generous under optimal conditions, particularly in indoor settings. Note that feminized seeds have never been available for this strain.
