Captain Future is a premium cannabis strain developed by Anesia Seeds through crossing their proprietary Future #1 strain with Emperor Cookies (Emperor OG × Girl Scout Cookies). This 70% sativa-dominant hybrid was created after the breeder's Future #1 achieved over 37% THC levels and became popular among dispensaries. After numerous attempts to find the ideal partner to maintain or increase potency while driving taste experience to the extreme, they selected Emperor Cookies for its balanced effects and complex taste profile.
Captain Future has achieved laboratory testing at 36% THC levels, with breeders confident it has not yet reached its peak potential. The strain develops medium to large-sized flowers that maintain a chunky, pinecone-like shape. Despite its sativa dominance, the knobby buds are more indica-like with white to yellowish trichomes and become rock hard and sticky, making them difficult to break up without a quality grinder. The strain's exceptional potency is attributed to extremely high proportions of myrcene, nerodiol, and lime terpenes that increase the effects.

Captain Future shows best results indoors using the SCROG method, which helps control size. During flowering, branches often require support due to heavy, large flowers. Plants reach heights of 110-130cm with outdoor harvests typically occurring in mid-October. The strain is described as easy to grow and can handle stress well.
