Caviar Lime is a genetic cross created by Grounded Genetics using the globally celebrated Lemonnade, frequently credited for bringing the true lemon terps out of the cannabis plant, crossed with reversed Bacio (Gelato 41) pollen. The strain is also known as "Lime Caviar" and is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid strain (60% sativa/40% indica) created through crossing the potent Rick James X Limearita strains in some sources, though the most consistent breeding information points to the Lemonnade x Bacio lineage.

During Grounded Genetics' vigorous testing procedures, they noticed that Bacio consistently lent recessive traits in the progeny, improving the density of the flower and increasing the purple hues while dramatically increasing the potency levels and resin production. The offspring represents a balanced combination of both parents' terpene profiles, emphasizing the candied lemon head flavours from the Lemonnade and the creamy gassy notes from the Gelato 41, with the resulting strain outshining its parents in quality. The buds feature fluffy, grape-shaped bright emerald-green nugs with dark leaves, thin orange hairs and chunky, minty white crystal trichomes topped with sparkly, sticky resin.

Selected phenotypes display stunning colours ranging from rich purples to radiant pinks without environmental influence, while emitting heavy lemon aromas in the early veg stage and proving fairly straightforward to grow with yields exceeding expectations.
