CBD Shark Shock
CBD Shark Shock
Also known as: CBD Shark, Shark Shock CBD
Overview
CBD Shark Shock is an indica-dominant hybrid (80% indica, 20% sativa) created by crossing the legendary Shark Shock strain with a high-CBD cultivar, believed to be from CBD Crew. The strain was developed by Dinafem Seeds through years of careful breeding, starting in the 1990s with the original Shark Shock strain, and later crossing it with a selected CBD-rich male from CBD Crew. This carefully engineered hybrid produces equal ratios of THC to CBD, with levels typically ranging from 6% to 11% for both cannabinoids. The strain inherits its lineage from White Widow and Skunk #1 through its Shark Shock parent.
The buds are small to medium in size with a popcorn-like appearance, featuring the characteristic dense and compact indica structure. The small, tightly-curled leaves display a mossy yellowish-green color accented by curly brown pistils. These buds have fluffy dark green pepper-shaped nugs with fiery orange hairs, rich amber undertones, and a visible layer of sticky sweet resin. The aroma profile combines sweet notes of fruit with subtle hints of garlic and herbs, creating a complex and distinctive scent signature. CBD Shark Shock was specifically designed as a medicinal strain to provide therapeutic benefits with minimal psychoactive effects, making it particularly valuable for patients seeking relief without intense intoxication.

Growing Information
CBD Shark Shock has an indoor flowering period of around 55 days (approximately 8 weeks). Indoor yields amount to 500g/m², while outdoor yields range between 600-900g per plant. The strain performs well both indoors and outdoors, thriving particularly in dry, temperate, or Mediterranean climates with daytime temperatures between 70-80°F. Plants tend to grow tall, with some reportedly reaching heights of up to six feet. The plants develop into mid-sized, round-shaped marijuana plants with short internodes and lots of branches that produce plenty of buds with surprisingly long and striking pistils. The strain is considered easy to grow with fast flowering, making it suitable for both experienced and novice growers who can produce abundant crops conveniently. Very ideal for small spaces as it does not stretch much and can be easily controlled.
