Cherry Cookies is a cross between the now-classic Cherry Pie and Girl Scout Cookies strains. Initially cultivated by Purple Caper Seeds, out of Northern California, this strain has become one of the most popular Girl Scout Cookie crosses to date, ranking next to Pink Cookies and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies. Cherry Cookies is an Indica-dominant hybrid with a 70/30 genetic split, though neither of the Cherry Cookies strain Indica or Sativa genes takes precedence when it comes to effect. The strain is gentle yet strong, producing a potent high without the inadvertent paranoia that comes with potent strains. Cherry Cookies catches the eye right away with exceptionally large, solid flowers that have a tapered, spade-like shape. They have a dense, tightly-packed bud structure, so much so that they may be difficult to break up by hand. The tightly-coiled leaves are a vibrant shade of spring green and are threaded through with bright yellow pistils, with some phenotypes having purple hair, meaning that the plant was subjected to low temperatures during cultivation.

This strain needs a stable environment to thrive, keeping the environment semi-humid at all times, and the temperature a constant 70°F-80°F (or 21°C-26°C). Outdoors, Cherry Cookies thrives spectacularly, reaching up to 8 feet in height when grown in sunny climates with good soil.
