Cherry Malawi
Cherry Malawi
Also known as: Cherry Malawi F3
Overview
Cherry Malawi is a sativa-dominant strain that features 90% sativa genetics and only 10% indica genetics, developed by Kingdom Organic Seeds. This strain is the result of the crossbreeding of the parent strains Cherry Bomb and Red Malawi, specifically created by crossing my olden Cherry Bomb f3 that was a hybrid of 3 Hawaiian sativas and a Cherry AK47 with Red Malawi I sourced over a decade ago from my old buddy in South Africa, named Tokestar. The strain represents a sophisticated fusion of Hawaiian sativa genetics with African landrace genetics, combining the energy and creativity of tropical sativas with the potent, long-lasting effects characteristic of South African strains.
The yields are LARGE and decently dense, with real strong honeysuckle smells and flavors, with a cherry vanilla background to them; and a hint of lemon-pepper. Like many south African sativas this one will keep you very baked for several hours (like 4 hours) at least. The high is upward and not sleepy at all, with heavy munchies for sure, and like a muse for any creative outlets/pursuits. The strain has been specifically bred for mood elevation and creative enhancement, making it particularly valued among cannabis connoisseurs for its unique terpene profile and consistent effects. She can take high heat and is highly mold resistant outdoors if happy and healthy, but not so good with high humidity during flowering, outdoors.

Growing Information
Cherry Malawi can be grown well both indoors and outdoors. Indoor plants flourish under MH and LED lighting and feature a flowering time of 70–75 days (10-11 weeks). Outdoor plants are ready for harvesting in the last half of October. Grow difficulty is medium with large yields both indoors and outdoors. Height tends to be tall both indoors and outdoors. She can take high heat and is highly mold resistant outdoors if happy and healthy, but not so good with high humidity during flowering, outdoors. This strain prefers a warm climate and requires attention to humidity control during the flowering period for optimal results.
