Chocolate Mintz is an indica dominant phenotype developed by the breeder Small Boutique Farms, created through crossing Chocolate Cookie Dough (a phenotype resulting from an accidental pollination of Face Off OG x Thin Mint Cookie) with Grape OG (Grape Romulan X Tahoe OG). This unique strain gained recognition after Josh of Small Boutique Farms gifted it to HendRx Farm following their victory in the Nor Cal Grow Off competition in 2019, with limited access maintained through Small Boutique's exclusive drops that first surfaced in Summer 2021. The strain can be cultivated both indoors and outdoors with a flowering time of approximately 57 days, and was originally available only as clone-only material from Small Boutique Farms. Few cultivators have had access to this "unique purple gas cut" due to Small Boutique's selective distribution, making it a rare and sought-after variety in cannabis circles.
