Overview
Cinderella 99 BX-1 is the result of recombining two distinctly different Cinderella 99 inbred lines and then backcrossing one generation, which gives rise to more consistent Pineapple phenotypes. This mostly sativa strain from Moscaseeds can be cultivated indoors and outdoors with plants needing a flowering time of approximately 52 days. The BX-1 designation indicates this is a first-generation backcross of the legendary Cinderella 99 strain, originally developed by Mr. Soul of Brothers Grimm from seeds found in a Sensi branded 2 gram package of Jack Herer purchased at an Amsterdam coffee shop. The strain was brought into the world via the crossing of sativa parent strain Princess (a phenotype of Jack Herer) and indica parent strain Shiva Skunk to add that little bit of extra strength in the branches. This variety won 2nd Place at the IC 420 Growers Cup 2010 in the category Sativa - Breeders Cup, submitted by Moscaseeds. Unfortunately, this strain is archived and no longer available from the original breeder.

The strain exhibits two main phenotypes: a long, stretched, fast-blossoming sativa dominant phenotype and a short, compact, fast-blossoming indica dominant phenotype. One user found an indica phenotype ready at day 45 but can be picked at day 40, while the sativa phenotype is an aroma-bomb but needs 60 days to finish. This strain produces extremely high yielding monsters with heavy branching and long tight, solid buds when grown properly. The strain is suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, with indoor growers appreciating its manageable height and fast flowering time. Seeds were never available as feminized from Moscaseeds. Difficulty level is considered moderate to advanced due to the need for proper phenotype selection.
