Overview
Clockwork Orange is a hybrid cannabis strain originally developed as a clone-only variety and later released in seed form by Riot Seeds after six years of selective breeding. The strain is believed to be a combination of G13 and Black Widow genetics, though there's definitely some G13 in there, but the exact lineage remains somewhat mysterious. Clockwork Orange is a 50/50 hybrid that produces short indica-like plants with dense, branching foliage featuring a uniquely crinkled leaf pattern. This strain is considered one of California's most rare and prized cuttings, with seeds being extremely limited in release each year. The buds display lumpy round dark olive green nugs with rich purple undertones and matching furry hairs, while some phenotypes show a distinctive golden/orange color when properly cured. A notable characteristic is the leaf mutation where during early vegetation there is a crinkled leaf pattern, making it easy to identify authentic Clockwork Orange cuttings, with this trait appearing in approximately 1 in 200 plants.

Clockwork Orange grows both indoors and outdoors, flowering in 70 to 77 days or by early November outdoors. Indoor flowering time is between nine and eleven weeks, yielding between 100 and 200 grams per square meter. If grown correctly and given ample space, this plant can out-yield some of the biggest yielders in cannabis history, even though it likes to stay in a single column. It is not recommended for use with the Sea of Green technique as some seeds retain the mutant leaf trait. Despite having more pronounced Sativa effects, as a plant it grows more like an Indica. The strain finishes flowering at right about 10-10.5 weeks.
