Code Blue is an evenly balanced hybrid strain (50% indica/50% sativa) developed by Archive Seed Bank, one of Portland, Oregon's legendary cannabis breeders. This strain traces its lineage to San Diego Cat Piss, long considered a building block to modern hybrids, and Face Off OG BX1, itself a probable descendant of OG Kush. The San Diego Cat Piss parent strain is a seldomly seen but important old school "building block" type originally sourced by ThaDocta in 2004 from the San Diego area at considerable risk and financial cost, making this strain particularly valuable.

Code Blue is distinguished by its exceptionally pungent and distinctive aroma profile. The strain has a super pungent flavor with a sour skunky aftertaste that can almost burn at times, while the stench is powerful and burning with dank sour overtones mixed with spicy chemical skunk. Smells range from old school, great tasting skunky kush/hashplant aromas to heavier ammonia skanky phenotypes that are difficult for even the best carbon scrubbers to handle, almost like "skunk urine" hunting sprays. The buds display bright neon green leafy nugs with fiery orange hairs, golden crystal trichomes, and a sticky coating of sweet resin.
